Information used to run the portal

The portal stores account and profile information, such as your email, name, profile picture and membership status. It also stores information you enter or generate through its features: tasks and completion history, preferences, personal schedule events, accountability reports and interactions, win submissions, character settings and progression, and lesson progress.

This information supports sign-in, membership access, planning, lessons, progress tracking and the community features you choose to use. Profile details and community contributions appear to other members where those features display them. Submitted win totals can appear on leaderboards. Google Calendar events are handled separately as described below.

Optional Google Calendar access

You can use the portal without connecting Google Calendar. If you connect it, Google asks you to approve access. The portal receives account information to identify the connection and permission to read, create, update and delete calendar events on your behalf.

The portal reads event details needed for the Calendar and Daily Schedule screens, such as titles, notes, dates and times. Creating, editing or deleting a Google event in the portal sends that requested change directly to Google Calendar. Your Google events are shown privately to your account and are not copied into the shared mentorship calendar.

The portal stores the connected account’s identifying information and authorization credentials. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and used only on the server. The portal does not receive your Google password. Google events are read as needed rather than maintained as a separate permanent event database in the portal; displayed events may remain in temporary browser memory while you use the page.

Google data and Limited Use

The Hunters Portal’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used to provide the calendar features you authorize. It is not sold, used for advertising or used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Services that support the portal

The portal uses Render for hosting and Supabase for authentication, database and file storage. Those services process information needed to operate these functions. Google processes the authorization and calendar requests you approve. Hosting and authentication services also process technical request and session information needed to deliver and protect the service.

Lessons can include links or embedded videos from services such as Loom and Tella. Opening or playing that content can send requests to the video provider, whose own privacy policy applies to its service.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, remembered preferences and faster page loading. Clearing browser data can sign you out or remove locally remembered settings.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can edit or delete entries where the portal provides those controls. Account and activity records support ongoing membership, history and progress tracking. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact Luca at lucalisnevsky@gmail.com.

Disconnecting Google Calendar removes the stored credentials for that connection from the portal and attempts to revoke its Google authorization. You can also remove access directly in your Google Account connections. Disconnecting does not delete events from Google Calendar or delete your other portal records.
